Bay Leaf is harvested from the Bay Laurel tree, which originates from the Mediterranean. Known to be made into Laurel crowns by the Greeks, or added to your favorite Italian dish. It is used in other culinary dishes, and herbal medicines. Bay Laurel is also known as Sweet Bay, True Laurel, Daphne, or Bay Leaf.

A few magical uses : healing, protection & warding, psychic powers, purification, and visions. It is also said that mixed with sandalwood can remove curses and evil spells when burned.
