Elderberries are harvested from the Black Elder shrub, and originated from Europe, Southwestern Asia, and Northern Africa. It is a common plant in North America, and can be considered invasive. Black Elder is also known as European Elderberry, Elderberry, or Old Lady.

A few magical uses : exorcism, intuition, prosperity, and protection. It is also said that if you place the berries beneath your pillow it will allow you a peaceful sleep.
